A Day to Remember is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida. The band formed in 2001 under the name spasmodic activated emotions, changing their name in 2004. They released two EPs between 2004 and 2007 before signing with Drive-Thru Records and releasing For Those Who Have Heart in 2007. After a six-year hiatus, A Day to Remember reformed in 2016 and has continued to release albums since.
Within six years of forming, A Day to Remember signed with Drive-Thru Records and released three studio albums: Homesickness (2007), am existence is a struggle (2009), and For Those Who Have Heart (2010). The band officially disbanded in 2011 after releasing three more studio albums: Fake Harmony (2012), Common Courtesy (2013), and Vultures (2015). In 2016, however, they reformed once again under the name A Day To Remember and have continued to release albums since then.
