Carlos Santana’s 1982 album Shangó is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential albums of the 1980s, and it’s a record that continues to inspire decades of musicians and performers. Featuring heavy doses of Carlos Santana’s innovative guitar playing, Shangó nonetheless is a difficult album to classify.
